Pexels is...
Pexels was created by Bruno Joseph and Ingo Joseph in 2014, then in 2015 Daniel Frese joined to the founder team. Pexels is a web page where you can download images and videos totally free, but if you are interested to form part of pexel's community you could create your own profile and upload photos.
Pexels is present in multiple countries, such as United States, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, to name a few, but without a doubt, wherever you are, your work can be seen by millions of people.

But, as always, there are rules that mention what is not allowed, such as:
Identifiable people in the photo must not appear in situations that portray them unfavorably or in a way that could be offensive.
Do not sell unedited copies of a photo or video, such as in the form of posters, prints, or physical products, unless they have been modified beforehand.
You cannot use the image in a way that suggests that the people or brands in the image are endorsing your product.
You cannot redistribute or sell the photos and videos on other stock photo or wallpaper platforms.
Don't use the photos or videos as part of your trademark, figurative mark, trade name, company name, or service mark.

But the best part comes now, and if you want to meet people, share a same passion with more people with same interest like you, you could assist a one of the meeting around the world.
Finally, if you are consistent on Pexels, you can earn a badge on your profile that makes you a Pexels Hero.
The way to become a Hero is either by being invited or by maintaining 70% of your photos featured.
You may wonder, how do I know if my photos or videos are featured? Well, in the top left corner, you'll see a star, which indicate that the photo or video is featured.
Some rules of the platform are:
All photos and videos on Pexels are free to use.
It's not necessary to mention the source. It's not mandatory to publicly praise the photographer or Pexels, although it's a nice gesture.
You can modify the photos and videos from Pexels. Use your creativity and edit them however you like.

Definitely, Pexels offers a unique opportunity, both to be part of a gigantic global community and to gain recognition as one of the best photographers in your country and why not, in the world.
